Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
Stanford Hall is a prime example of William and Mary architecture, it was constructed by Smiths of Warwick for the Cave family, ancestors of the current owners, and completed in 1697.
The Hall includes a magnificent Ballroom seating up to 80 people, two formal drawing rooms, a library, a Billiards room and a lovely private dining room. Accommodation includes four state heritage doubles and one single and four modern bathrooms on the Heritage floor. The Hall in set in picturesque, rich English countryside rolling over 900 acres.

The Ballroom tissue fabric was in a very fragile state but we were able to redraw the original mid 19th century style design from the remains. As photographed we were also able to match the original shades of gold beige and maroon, in silk and cotton fibres.
The picture mounts were left plain beneath as originally so, to keep the scheme historically correct. Narrow trims finished the panel edges which were woven to compliment the original colour scheme. The installation was carried out by Sheila Landi and her team.
