The Georgian Group Architectural Awards 2019 winners announced

The Georgian Group award winners 2019 were announced in London on Tuesday 01 October 2019 and published in Country Life Magazine 02 October 2019;

“The Georgian Group’s 2019 Architectural Awards, sponsored by Savills, attracted an outstandingly strong entry. The following winners were chosen by a panel of judges, chaired by Country Life’s Architectural Editor, John Goodall”. We were thrilled that not one but two of the award winners are restorations that include fabrics supplied by Humphries Weaving.

 

Restoration of a Georgian Interior; awarded to The Saloon, Brighton Pavilion, East Sussex.

Pure silk tissue in Geranium and Gold supplied by Humphries Weaving for Walling Panels, Drapes and Upholstery.

Diaphoros Prize; awarded to Hillsborough Castle, Co Down, Northern Ireland.

Silk and Wool Crimson Damask supplied by Humphries Weaving for Walling and Curtains.
