Belvoir Castle,
Belvoir Castle’s history dates back to the eleventh century. It is the ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland, where the family have lived in an unbroken line for almost a thousand years.
The Elizabeth Saloon
Silk Faced Tissue
Humphries Weaving undertook a redrawing of the original design from the Elizabeth Saloon, dated as 1832, in order to reweave a silk faced tissue. The fabric is an attractive Cerise pink and silver and was supplied for replacement window drapes and furniture upholstery.
As well as an ancestral home, the Castle is regularly hired for filming and has recently featured in ‘The Crown’.
